Neurosyphilis

Abstract: Neurosyphilis, the result of invasion of the nervous system by Treponema pallidum, can occur at any time after primary infection and is altered by HIV coinfection. Serologic diagnosis with testing of blood and CSF is imperfect, but some general rules provide guidance.
