Test Description

This analyzer is designed to evaluate patients in whom there is a clinical suspicion of a lupus anticoagulant or clinical features of the anti-phospholipid antibody syndrome (e.g. thrombocytopenia, thrombosis, recurrent abortion). Testing may include evaluation of mixing studies or Beta 2 glycoprotein antibody titers. A pathologist’s interpretation with patient focused report and summation of tests results will be issued with each order. For collection information refer to this test in the Test Directory.

Please provide patient history and anticoagulant therapy on the Coagulopathy Questionnaire and submit with specimen or fax to 918-744-3236.
